After writing the Twinkie post below I thought that people might like to know about all the companies that have decided to lay off employees since the election. Most of these companies cite the increased costs from ObamaCare and increased government regulation as the main reason for the layoffs.
Republicans, of course, are saying that this wouldn’t have happened if Romney was elected. That may or may not be true. We don’t know and we never will because he was not elected. We have to start dealing with the here-and-now and stop imagining an alternate reality filled with sunshine and lolipops.
The reality is that the economy is in shambles and it’s not getting much better. Jobs are dissappearing faster than they are being created. We are teetering on the edge of the “fiscal cliff” and llife is going to be tough for all of us. Especially for those people who lost their jobs.
Below the fold is a list of all the companies that have announced layoffs since November 7, 2012
